Software Engineer, AI Data (Remote, Denmark)

A fully distributed AI company building audio and text-to-speech technology used by millions of people worldwide. The AI team is hiring a software engineer to design and run the data pipelines that feed model training and new AI products. The work combines engineering, infrastructure and research to produce large, high-quality datasets at low cost. You would have considerable autonomy and ownership over projects from initial problem discovery through to delivery.

What you'll do

• Find new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines to bring them into training datasets
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems with a focus on data quality, throughput and cost
• Work closely with AI scientists to improve training data and support next-generation model development
• Own engineering projects end to end, including ongoing improvement after launch

What you need

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with solid backend fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
• Experience building and operating production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous settings
• Must be based in Denmark
