What you'll do

• Find new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines that bring them into training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput and cost.
• Work closely with AI scientists to improve training datasets and support new model development.
• Own engineering projects end to end, from identifying the problem through implementation and ongoing improvement.

What you need

• A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with solid backend fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and running production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous settings.
• Nice to have: web crawling, data acquisition or distributed data processing; cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (GCP and Terraform); familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality or audio processing.
