Spanish-English Customer Service Representative (Remote - Virginia, US only)

Work cannot be performed from outside Virginia. Identity and location checks, including webcam verification, may be used. A global digital transformation and customer experience company is hiring bilingual customer service representatives to support utility and energy customers from home. The work covers phone, email, chat and written correspondence. Representatives handle a wide mix of requests, from billing and service questions to energy conservation advice, and also take calls about power outages and other emergencies.

What you'll do

• Handle inbound customer calls and messages in Spanish and English, including service requests and billing questions
• Take calls related to power outages and other urgent situations, providing clear guidance and next steps
• Use active listening and probing questions to find the real issue and resolve it
• Explain energy suppliers and energy choice programs so customers can make informed decisions
• Document interactions accurately and meet quality and productivity goals

What you need

• Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills; a language assessment is sent after you apply
• Must live in and work from within the State of Virginia; working from outside the state is not permitted
• Prior customer service experience and strong multitasking skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and a problem-solving, goal-driven approach
• Available for full-time hours
