Team Member, SME Product Asset

This onsite role in Lagos supports the day-to-day running of a bank's risk asset (credit and loan) products. It suits someone with a finance or banking background who enjoys detailed work, working alongside relationship and credit teams, and keeping clear records. The organisation is a Nigerian financial institution serving individual and business customers. You will help shape new lending products, check customer eligibility, monitor portfolio performance and support colleagues with product guidance. Candidates should be comfortable with numbers, reporting and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Support the design, development and rollout of risk asset products such as term loans, overdrafts, working capital finance, asset finance, mortgages and SME loans
• Liaise with relationship, credit risk, legal and credit operations teams to support smooth disbursement of approved facilities
• Help prepare marketing proposals, product papers and internal credit approval documents
• Carry out preliminary KYC, customer eligibility profiling and credit analysis
• Monitor disbursed assets and maturing obligations, and flag early signs of delinquency
• Prepare periodic reports on portfolio performance, product profitability and risk metrics

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of risk asset products and credit risk frameworks
• Familiarity with CBN Prudential Guidelines, IFRS 9 (basic) and AML/CFT
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI and SQL
• Basic credit analysis and financial statement analysis skills
