Tech Risk Management Consultant

This is a full-time, fully remote consulting role for an experienced professional who will assess and manage technology and cybersecurity risk across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and AI-enabled solutions. The post is for a technology-led organisation that works with Security, Engineering, Compliance and Audit colleagues to close control gaps, support audits and strengthen risk governance. It suits someone with a background in IT risk, information security, audit or GRC who enjoys turning technical findings into clear reports for senior leaders.

What you'll do

• Carry out technology and cybersecurity risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, cloud and AI solutions
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of security controls
• Maintain risk registers, risk treatment plans and exception tracking
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and compliance assessments
• Track remediation activity and validate risk closure
• Build risk metrics, dashboards and executive reports
