Web Developer (WordPress & HubSpot)

A remote, part-time role for a developer who builds and maintains websites in WordPress and HubSpot. It sits within a marketing agency that supports software companies with SEO, content, paid media and answer engine optimisation. The work turns designs and campaign plans into fast, accessible pages ready to launch, and there is potential to grow into a larger role over time. It suits a hands-on developer who enjoys troubleshooting, tidying legacy code and working independently with a distributed team. U.S.-based candidates are preferred.

What you'll do

• Build, update and troubleshoot client websites in WordPress and HubSpot CMS
• Make technical fixes to live sites and document what was tested and changed
• Build and connect forms, lead routing and simple automations
• Set up and check analytics and tag tracking with the SEO team
• Keep sites fast, accessible and search-friendly
• Share clear progress updates with the team

What you need

• Strong WordPress development, including custom and child themes, blocks, page builders and ACF
• Strong HubSpot CMS development using HubL templates, modules, forms and email templates
• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Zapier, n8n, Airtable or Slack
• Experience auditing sites with crawling and performance tools and fixing issues found
• Clear written communication and strong independent time management
