Account Executive, East Coast Region (Remote - US only)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (base), plus uncapped commission on sold business (OTE $175k). This is a full-time, fully remote sales role with a benefits services and technology firm headquartered in the US that helps employers build healthier workplaces. You will win net new clients for the company's brokerage book of business in the East Coast region, owning the full sales cycle from first outreach through close. You will work alongside a lead generation team, business development partners, and an internal consulting group. The company describes itself as a fast-growing startup.

What you'll do

• Prospect outbound through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels to reach target employers
• Define and focus on target accounts by headcount, revenue, industry, and geography
• Identify key decision makers, assess buying readiness, and map out timelines
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and finalist meetings with prospects alongside internal teams
• Build and maintain a forecastable revenue pipeline and log all activity in Salesforce
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events

What you need

• 2 to 5 years of sales experience
• Working knowledge of the employer benefits market, including health plan programs, and ability to present them to groups
• Life and Health insurance license, or willingness to obtain one
• Track record of forecasting accurately and hitting revenue targets
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup setting and adaptable to new initiatives
• Hands-on CRM experience, and ability to work independently from a home office
• Must be based in the United States
