Account / Inventory Officer (Okota, Lagos)

A full-time hybrid role in Okota, Lagos, combining day-to-day accounting with stock control for a pharmaceutical business. It suits a detail-oriented, organised person who enjoys keeping accurate financial and inventory records and working closely with sales, procurement and warehouse colleagues. Candidates living in Okota, Isolo or nearby areas are strongly preferred for easy on-site attendance. The working week is Monday to Friday, with four days on site and one remote day.

What you'll do

• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and payments, and maintain invoices and financial documents
• Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding payments
• Reconcile cash, bank statements and financial records
• Track stock movement, conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory records
• Monitor product expiry dates and investigate stock discrepancies and losses
• Prepare financial, sales, stock and reconciliation reports

What you need

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 2 to 3 years' experience in accounting, inventory or stock control
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, retail or distribution is an advantage
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and inventory control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Strong accuracy, organisation, analytical skills and attention to detail
