Accounting & Finance Operations Manager

A remote, worldwide role for an experienced finance professional who will run day-to-day accounting and finance operations for a growing healthcare imaging business. The position centres on receivables, cash visibility, payroll and spend administration, and oversight of an external accounting partner. It suits someone who enjoys taking ownership, tightening processes and building scalable financial systems, and who is comfortable shaping how a finance function works as the organisation evolves.

What you'll do

• Own the accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash application, collections, disputes and aging reporting
• Monitor receivables performance and reimbursement timelines to improve cash collection
• Manage payroll administration, spend card programmes and related system integrations
• Oversee the monthly close with an external accounting partner and review reconciliations
• Develop financial policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures
• Provide regular visibility into cash balances, receivables and payables to support forecasting

What you need

• 4–6+ years in accounting or finance operations, including owning the monthly close
• Strong accounts receivable, collections and cash reconciliation experience
• Experience overseeing outsourced accountants or bookkeepers
• Hands-on payroll administration experience on Rippling, ADP or Gusto
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and a spend management platform, plus strong Excel skills
• Experience building accounting policies and internal controls
