Accountant

A full-time accounting role in Abuja with a hospitality business that also has property interests. The position suits an accountant who enjoys keeping accurate books, supporting sound financial decisions and making sure a growing business stays on the right side of tax and reporting rules. Candidates with some experience in real estate or property-related accounts will find the role a good fit, and those with ICAN or ACCA study behind them are welcome to apply.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts
• Manage accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements, budgets and periodic reports
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and property-related transactions
• Ensure tax compliance and adherence to financial regulations

What you need

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• ICAN or ACCA qualification or part-qualification (an advantage)
