Accountant (Lagos)

Two experienced accountants are wanted by an organisation in Lagos to support its finance function. The role covers day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, tax filings and audit support, and suits detail-focused professionals who can work on their own with limited supervision. It follows a hybrid arrangement of three days onsite and two days remote. Candidates with ICAN certification or who are at the ICAN professional stage, and with at least two years of accounting experience, are well placed to apply.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned clients
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage VAT, WHT and other tax filings
• Maintain accurate financial records and support regulatory compliance and external audits
