Accountant (Remote)

A remote contract role supporting the finance team of a fast-growing voice AI software company that serves large enterprise customers and is scaling its annual recurring revenue quickly. You will work alongside a billing lead to keep books, collections and vendor payments accurate and on schedule. Suited to an accountant with SaaS or high-growth experience who enjoys clean records, works well independently and communicates clearly in an asynchronous, small-team setting. Some overlap with Pacific Time working hours is expected.

What you'll do

• Support the monthly close, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
• Manage accounts receivable: invoice follow-up, cash application and aging
• Handle accounts payable: vendor bills, approvals and payment runs
• Resolve billing-related tickets from customers and internal teams

What you need

• At least 2 years of accounting experience covering month-end close, AR and AP
• Experience at a SaaS or other high-growth company
• Hands-on experience with accounting and billing tools such as QuickBooks, Stripe or Bill.com
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
• Nice to have: CPA or CPA candidate; experience with usage-based billing
