Accounts Payable Analyst (Remote - Spain, Romania, Hungary, Portugal, Poland, South Africa)

Open only to residents of Spain, Romania, Hungary, Portugal, Poland, and South Africa. Candidates must be based within UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones. A remote-first, mission-driven workforce platform company that helps businesses hire and pay staff across many countries is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst. You will run accurate, timely, and controlled AP operations for external vendors, working closely with an outsourced invoice-processing partner. The role combines daily execution with ownership of process improvement and automation across the company's global finance operations.

What you'll do

• Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies and vendor queries quickly and accurately.
• Support the outsourced invoice-processing team in completing and posting invoices in NetSuite on time.
• Perform regular AP account reconciliations and follow up on exceptions until resolved.
• Support timely, accurate vendor payments together with Treasury and Accounting, and complete month-end AP close tasks.
• Manage AP mailboxes and keep vendor master data accurate, compliant, and well documented.
• Contribute to AP process-improvement and automation projects and maintain AP documentation and training materials.

What you need

• At least three years of professional accounts payable experience, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Advanced ERP skills, ideally in NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, plus comfort with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work in high-volume, globally distributed AP environments.
• Strong written and verbal English, a reliable home internet connection, and a working schedule within UTC-3 to UTC+3.
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable investigating ambiguous issues across several stakeholders.
