Brand & Category Growth Specialist

A remote marketing role with a long-established, family-owned consumer packaged goods business that makes a leading snack brand sold through national and regional grocery, warehouse and independent retail. The position is a one-person marketing function reporting directly to the chief executive, covering retail presentations, content, direct-to-consumer campaigns and in-store activation. It suits a self-directed marketer with CPG, food or retail experience who enjoys using AI tools to produce more work, handle data and budgets, and build efficient workflows. Fully remote, working Eastern Time hours from Latin America.

What you'll do

• Create buyer presentations, sell sheets and category stories for priority retail accounts using syndicated and sales data
• Plan and produce English and Spanish content across social media and the company website
• Run fixed-budget marketing tests across Amazon, Meta advertising, video and merchandise, and recommend go or no-go decisions
• Manage product sampling and demonstrations and retail media initiatives
• Produce buyer newsletters and marketing materials for retail and wholesale partners
• Build AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve marketing output and efficiency

What you need

• 3+ years of marketing experience in consumer packaged goods, food, beverage or retail
• Experience marketing to retailers, distributors or wholesale partners
• Hands-on proficiency with AI tools for writing, images, video and data analysis
• Ability to interpret syndicated retail data, test results and budgets
• Practical design skills for brand and marketing materials
• Understanding of planograms and promotions
