Business Development Executive - IT Recruitment (Remote, South Africa)

Must be able to work during a daily overlap with London business hours (11:00 to 16:00 London time). A recruitment consultancy focused on technology and engineering talent is hiring a business development executive to grow its client base. The firm supports clients across the UK, Europe and the US, with specialist divisions in areas such as data, AI, software engineering and data centre infrastructure. This is a sales-led role for someone who wants to build a career in recruitment sales and is comfortable with high outbound activity.

What you'll do

• Define the ideal customer profile and build target lists of high-growth companies.
• Run outbound outreach campaigns through LinkedIn and email.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to reach and pitch to decision-makers.
• Identify and engage 20 new target clients each working day.
• Book and run discovery calls to uncover live hiring needs.
• Manage your pipeline to reach a monthly revenue contribution target of £15,000.

What you need

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven experience pitching to C-suite executives, with evidence of results.
• Prior sales outreach and meeting-booking experience, ideally in recruitment or resourcing.
• A results-driven approach with a focus on daily and monthly targets.
• Ability to work remotely from South Africa with a daily overlap with London hours (11:00 to 16:00 London time).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with senior leaders.
