Consultant (Health Policy and Advocacy, Remote)

This remote role is for consultants engaged on a project-by-project basis by an organisation that supports health policy and advocacy work. Projects span political economy analysis, campaign design, health financing, evidence synthesis and data storytelling, with engagement across national ministries and regional and multilateral bodies. It suits experienced policy professionals, analysts or communications specialists who can work independently, move quickly on evidence and enjoy shaping decisions in health systems and financing.

What you'll do

• Analyse political economy and map stakeholders and influence in specific countries or regional bodies
• Design and deliver advocacy campaigns, including message strategy and coalition mobilisation
• Prepare policy briefs, positioning papers, technical reports and presentations
• Support health financing and public financial management analysis
• Synthesise research rapidly into decision-relevant summaries
• Turn complex data into clear, persuasive visual stories

What you need

• Experience in health policy, advocacy, public financial management or a related field
• Ability to analyse political context and stakeholder influence
• Strong writing and presentation skills for technical and policy audiences
• Comfort with data visualisation and evidence synthesis
• Ability to work independently on project-based engagements
• Familiarity with African or multilateral health institutions is an advantage
