Corporate Recruitment & HR Team Lead

This is a leadership role within a recruitment and HR services provider in Lagos, Nigeria. The team lead will oversee HR assistants and newer recruiters while managing corporate recruitment mandates from start to finish. The position also involves keeping client relationships strong, coordinating HR administration, and improving how the team delivers its services. It suits an experienced recruiter or HR professional who enjoys coaching others, keeping track of many moving parts, and building steady, dependable processes. Onsite work in Lagos.

What you'll do

• Supervise, coach and evaluate HR assistants and newly onboarded recruiters
• Manage corporate recruitment end to end, from vacancy intake to placement closure
• Maintain client communication and follow up on delayed or at-risk vacancies
• Coordinate HR administration, employee records, onboarding and compliance
• Maintain vacancy trackers, recruitment deadlines and performance reports
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements to service delivery

What you need

• Preferably 3 to 5+ years' experience in corporate recruitment and HR operations
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing, HR procedures and employment matters
• Experience coaching junior colleagues and managing corporate client relationships
• Excellent organisational, communication, problem-solving and performance-tracking skills
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment mandates with strong ownership
• Experience in a recruitment agency, HR outsourcing or HR consulting firm is an advantage
