Customer Service Virtual Assistant

A remote independent contractor role supporting a satellite services provider's customer team. It suits organised, patient people who enjoy helping customers by phone and email and keeping accurate records. The work is part of a wider network of offshore contractors serving clients mainly in developed markets. Prior telecoms, internet or other customer service experience is strongly preferred, and training on the client's procedures is expected.

What you'll do

• Answer inbound customer calls and help with general, billing and service-timeline questions
• Support customer activation and deactivation requests following set procedures
• Assist with login and account-access queries
• Make callbacks and respond to customer emails, following up on open concerns
• Escalate technical or account issues that fall outside the role
• Update and maintain customer records in the CRM with accurate data entry

What you need

• Customer service or call centre experience
• Inbound call-handling experience
• Strong spoken and written English
• CRM or data-entry experience
• Telecoms, satellite, cable or internet experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with HubSpot is a strong advantage
