Cyber Security Tutor

A full-time onsite teaching role in Lagos State for a cybersecurity tutor who enjoys turning complex technical ideas into clear, practical learning. The organisation is an education provider focused on ICT and security skills. The role suits an experienced security practitioner who also enjoys teaching, mentoring and shaping course content for learners pursuing careers in cybersecurity.

What you'll do

• Prepare instructional materials and deliver cybersecurity lessons
• Supervise hands-on labs and guide students through practical security scenarios
• Assess student assignments and projects and give constructive feedback
• Support curriculum development and keep course content up to date
• Collaborate with fellow tutors to maintain high teaching standards
• Mentor students on cybersecurity career pathways

What you need

• Strong understanding of common threats, vulnerabilities, security best practices and basic incident response
• Knowledge of firewalls, authentication, access control and secure system configuration
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners, SIEM systems and packet analysis tools
• Excellent teaching and communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent practical experience
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH or CISSP are an advantage
