Digital Content Creator & Social Media Associate

A hybrid content and social media role based in Lagos, centred on creating engaging digital material that builds a financial services brand and helps everyday audiences understand investing and personal finance. The organisation operates in the investment and wealth space with a strong focus on ethical investing and responsible communication. The role suits a creative, detail-minded communicator who enjoys turning complex financial ideas into clear, accurate and approachable content, and who is comfortable working with compliance and subject-matter experts to keep messaging balanced and transparent.

What you'll do

• Plan and run a digital content strategy and monthly and weekly content calendar across platforms
• Create short-form video, graphics, carousels, articles, scripts and captions
• Manage and optimise the brand's social media accounts and respond to community interactions
• Turn investment and financial concepts into accessible, responsible educational content
• Support marketing and growth campaigns, launches and webinars
• Track content and social media performance and prepare regular reports

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field
• 1-2 years' experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing or communications
• Proven experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation
• Familiarity with content creation tools and platforms
• Experience in fintech, financial services, investment or another regulated industry is an advantage
