Finance Systems Lead (Remote - Europe)

You must be able to work in CET time zones. This is a remote-first role with a fast-growing AI research and product company that runs a deliberately lean finance team across more than 10 legal entities and 40+ countries. The company is preparing for public-company controls and is building its finance operations around automation and a central data warehouse. The role owns the finance systems stack, from architecture and integrations to controls and vendor decisions, and is a hands-on builder role rather than a ticket queue.

What you'll do

• Administer and configure a multi-subsidiary NetSuite OneWorld instance, including chart of accounts, segments, scripting, workflows, release management and segregation of duties.
• Design and maintain integrations from payments, corporate cards, payroll/employer-of-record and HR platforms into the ERP, and from the ERP into the data warehouse, with reconciliation and alerting built in.
• Lead selection and rollout of new systems such as usage-based billing and equity administration, and handle the finance setup for each new legal entity.
• Build AI-assisted agents and automations for tasks like invoice coding, people-cost reconciliation and accounting requests, working alongside automation and data teams.
• Advise on finance decisions involving new pricing models, new geographies and audit readiness from a systems perspective.

What you need

• Hands-on experience administering a multi-entity NetSuite OneWorld environment, including SuiteScript/SuiteQL, saved searches, roles and releases.
• Experience owning an ERP or billing implementation or migration end to end, with understanding of how payments data flows into the ERP and revenue recognition.
• Ability to build integrations (via iPaaS or code) that reconcile and alert on failures, and comfort writing SQL.
• Solid knowledge of record-to-report, procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes and their controls, and ability to work with accountants, engineers and auditors.
• AI-first working style, with regular use of tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to automate workflows.
• Based in Europe with the ability to work in CET time zones.
• Bonus: experience with usage-billing platforms, dbt/BigQuery, n8n, SOX or ITGC work at a pre-IPO or public company.
