Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)

A hybrid full stack developer role based in Lagos, suited to a developer who enjoys working across both the user-facing and server side of web applications. The work involves designing, building and maintaining scalable web applications, with a focus on performance, security and clean, well-reviewed code. It suits early-career to mid-level engineers with one to three years of experience who communicate well and like collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications
• Build responsive user interfaces and reliable backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features
• Troubleshoot bugs and optimise application performance
• Ensure application security, reliability and scalability
• Take part in code reviews and follow development best practices

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 1–3 years' experience in full stack development
• Working knowledge of languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, C#, React, Angular, Vue.js or Node.js
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or SQL Server
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, cloud technologies and software development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
