IT Engineer (Remote - Worldwide)

A fast-growing AI research and product company is hiring a hands-on IT engineer to support its expanding headcount, international footprint and new office openings. The role sits at the intersection of security, operations and end-user productivity. The team works in a lean, autonomous style with a strong emphasis on automation and minimal bureaucracy. There are no fixed job titles; impact is what counts.

What you'll do

• Own and deliver technical projects across identity, endpoint management, office infrastructure, automation and compliance.
• Work with the Security and Operations teams to keep endpoints, offices, networks and SaaS tools secure.
• Manage identity and access workflows and provisioning across SaaS platforms.
• Administer the company device fleet through mobile device management tooling, including configuration and lifecycle.
• Build scripts and automations for compliance checks, device configuration and other IT security tasks.
• Support office network equipment and help with new office buildouts.

What you need

• Solid hands-on background in IT engineering, technical operations or a DevOps-adjacent role, with an automation-first mindset and experience running enterprise-scale IT systems.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management standards such as SAML, SCIM and OIDC, with experience in tools like Okta and Google Workspace.
• Expertise with mobile device management tools (e.g. Jamf, Kandji, Fleet) across a device fleet.
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash or similar, with a record of automating compliance and security tasks.
• Experience managing office network equipment (e.g. Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti) and proven ability to maintain SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar compliance, with a friendly, end-user-focused approach.
• Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
