German Music Localization Specialist (Remote - Worldwide)

Pay: $30/hr - $35/hr (hourly rate). Applicants must have native-level German and strong US-English comprehension. A global language services and AI training data company is hiring German music subject matter experts to review and adapt English-to-German music content. You will act as a culturally fluent quality reviewer, checking accuracy, style and tone so content feels natural to German-speaking music fans. The work is a quality control assessment focused on grammar and music knowledge.

What you'll do

• Review, edit and fact-check music-related content against the client's style guides
• Improve AI-generated US-English source copy so it is clear, coherent and engaging
• Research German-market music terminology, artists, genres and trends to keep content relevant
• Give structured feedback on written content
• Keep quality and consistency across audio, video and digital content within client tools and workflows

What you need

• Native-level German with excellent grammar and writing skills
• Proven copywriting or editing experience, ideally with music content
• Solid knowledge of contemporary music, including pop/rock, hip-hop and K-Pop
• Good awareness of pop culture, slang and Gen Z language in German
• Ability to adjust tone from formal to casual depending on the musical context
• Comfortable working in online tools and meeting project deadlines
