Head, Marketing & Business Development

A senior commercial leadership role based onsite in Lagos, Nigeria, at a financial services group focused on growing its customer base and revenue. The position suits an experienced leader with 7 to 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, business development, corporate communications, sales or financial services, including at least five years in a senior role. The successful candidate will be results-driven, comfortable with autonomy, and keen to shape growth across digital and corporate channels. The role carries high visibility with the Board and Executive Committee and involves regular travel within Nigeria.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute marketing and brand strategy
• Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
• Lead digital acquisition across paid media, SEO/SEM and social commerce
• Build strategic partnerships with corporates, institutions and regulators
• Support product launches and market expansion
• Lead customer experience and retention initiatives

What you need

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, business development, corporate communications, sales or financial services
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred
• Knowledge of CBN, SEC and NDPC regulations
• Experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and CRM platforms
