HR Officer

An onsite HR Officer role in Ogba, Lagos, supporting the day-to-day people operations of an organisation. The post covers recruitment, employee records, attendance, staff welfare and HR administration, with a focus on keeping practices in line with company policy and Nigerian labour law. It suits a organised, discreet HR professional with a degree or HND in a related field and two to four years of hands-on HR experience who enjoys a varied role supporting both staff and management.

What you'll do

• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding and exit processes
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Monitor staff attendance, leave, punctuality and absenteeism
• Support payroll by providing accurate employee and attendance information
• Handle employee enquiries, grievances and disciplinary documentation
• Coordinate staff training, performance appraisals and engagement activities

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of relevant HR experience
• Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR practices
• HR certification is an advantage
