A senior leadership role for a marketing technology and services business serving retail and eCommerce brands, with a remote, worldwide working arrangement. The position owns client relationships after the sale, covering renewals and expansion across a US client book, and leads a small team of client partners. It suits an experienced client-facing leader from martech, performance marketing or digital advertising who has carried a revenue target, can advise senior marketing and eCommerce executives, and can scope and defend a mix of software and services.
What you'll do
- Own renewals and expansion across the US client book and forecast results for the executive team
- Lead and coach a team of Client Partners and Associate Client Partners, including hiring
- Act as executive sponsor for the largest accounts and a trusted partner to senior client leaders
- Build account plans and risk reviews, and escalate early when accounts are at risk
- Work with delivery, product, finance and sales teams to align client needs and commercial plans
- Lead escalations and decide when issues need wider executive involvement
What you need
- 10+ years in client-facing roles in martech, performance marketing or digital advertising with retail and eCommerce clients
- Several years leading a quota-carrying team that owned renewals and expansion
- Relationships with marketing and eCommerce decision makers at brands and retailers
- Experience selling or leading teams selling combined software and services
- Ability to read client results and propose solutions
- Familiarity with email, SMS and onsite marketing programmes and the ESP and CDP landscape
