Head of Finance & Accounts

This is a senior finance leadership role based onsite in Isolo, Lagos, with a food manufacturing business that is growing quickly. The successful candidate will take ownership of the whole finance function, combining strategic planning with hands-on day-to-day accounting. It suits an experienced, qualified accountant who has already led a team and wants a broad remit covering reporting, budgeting, cash flow, tax compliance and internal controls.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and produce monthly financial statements
• Manage cash flow and treasury activities
• Develop budgets, forecasts and financial strategy to support business expansion
• Ensure tax, statutory and regulatory compliance
• Establish and maintain internal controls
• Lead and mentor the finance team

What you need

• B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• ICAN (ACA) or ACCA certification
• 7–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, taxation and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting systems
• Available to work Monday to Friday onsite
