Head of Operations (Technical)

A senior operations role at a technology services organisation that delivers software and data projects for clients. What you'll do

• Lead client discovery sessions to understand business processes, challenges and requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Prepare requirements documents, process flows, specifications and user stories
• Support project scoping, effort estimation, statements of work and change-request assessments
• Lead technical recruitment and coordinate onboarding and offboarding
• Coordinate engineers, analysts and other technical team members to keep projects on time

What you need

• At least 5 years of experience working on technology projects
• At least 2 years in delivery, systems analysis, business analysis or technical project management
• Experience writing requirements documents, specifications or user stories used by engineering teams
• Experience managing clients or stakeholders on technical projects
• Experience coordinating engineers, analysts or other technical professionals
• Ability to understand software and data projects without writing production code
