Power Platform Solution Architect (Remote - Egypt, 6-12 Month Contract)

A contract opportunity for a senior solution architect to lead architecture for defined initiatives within an established Microsoft Power Platform landscape. The work turns business capabilities and non-functional requirements into practical end-to-end designs, and the architect guides delivery teams through build, release and production support. The engagement is 6 to 12 months and is an immediate hire.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end solutions spanning Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Azure services and external integrations.
• Define solution boundaries, data models, integration patterns, security concepts and environment strategies.
• Decide when to use configuration, low-code or custom development, including React, PCF controls and Azure components.
• Confirm designs align with enterprise architecture, identity, data protection, ALM and operational support requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, record decisions, and manage technical risks, dependencies and exceptions.
• Support estimation, backlog refinement and delivery planning with product owners and engineering teams, including coaching developers and reviewing designs and deployment approaches.

What you need

• 8+ years of solution design or software engineering experience, including substantial enterprise Power Platform architecture work.
• Track record of designing production solutions across multiple applications, environments and integration endpoints.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, security roles, identity, data modelling, integration and API patterns.
• Practical experience with managed solutions, environment strategy, source control and Azure DevOps-based ALM.
• Ability to define and assess non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability, supportability, compliance) and to facilitate decisions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Professional English and strong written architecture documentation skills.
• Preferred:
• Microsoft Power Platform or Azure architecture certification, particularly PL-600.
