Junior Procurement Officer

A full-time onsite role in Guzape, Abuja, with an established construction business that has over two decades of industry experience. The role supports the team's sourcing and purchasing work, helping to keep materials and services arriving on time and at sensible cost. It suits recent graduates or early-career professionals from quantity surveying, procurement, or supply chain backgrounds who enjoy supplier work, careful record-keeping, and learning on the job.

What you'll do

• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for required materials and services
• Compare prices and help select suitable suppliers
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Verify deliveries against approved orders with relevant personnel
• Assist with price negotiations and identify cost-saving opportunities

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates encouraged
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organisational and numerical skills
• Honesty, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
