Key Account Officer

A full-time key account role based in Abuja, suited to an experienced sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships with large corporate clients. The organisation is a business-focused employer looking for someone to grow revenue, protect existing accounts and spot new commercial opportunities. The role rewards commercial judgement, clear communication and a strong record of hitting targets in a B2B setting. It is a good fit for candidates with several years of strategic account management behind them rather than entry-level or general retail sales experience.

What you'll do

• Manage and develop relationships with high-value corporate accounts
• Drive revenue growth and work towards sales targets
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Develop account strategies to improve customer value and retention
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms
• Monitor account performance, sales pipeline and revenue forecasts

What you need

• B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales or key account management experience
• Experience managing major, strategic or high-value corporate accounts
• Proven record of revenue growth, customer retention and hitting sales targets
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management tools
