Principal Presales Engineer, Product Specialist

A senior pre-sales role based remotely in Brazil with a remote-first cloud communications company that provides APIs and developer tools used by businesses worldwide. The position suits an experienced solutions architect or pre-sales engineer who enjoys working on large, multi-product deals and turning technical detail into clear value for customers. Alongside sales and solutions teams, the role also feeds customer insight back into product strategy, with a particular focus on voice and AI-driven experiences. Some travel is involved for customer meetings and team gatherings.

What you'll do

• Build knowledge of the platform, its use cases and buyer personas, with attention to voice and AI trends
• Scope, design and present multi-product solution architectures
• Support solutions engineers and sales teams on value selling and complex deal strategy
• Design and validate secure, scalable messaging architectures
• Document customer and prospect patterns and share them with product and R&D teams
• Travel to customer meetings or team gatherings, around 15% of the time

What you need

• Hands-on experience designing or validating conversational AI or LLM-driven architectures connected to model APIs
• Experience leading pre-sales or solution architecture engagements in Portuguese and English
• Solid understanding of API-based, event-driven systems, including REST APIs and webhooks
• Working knowledge of Node.js or Python, with software development or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in messaging platforms, including throughput, retry strategies and deliverability
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to technical and executive audiences
