Product & Project Manager

This is a fully remote, permanent role for a product and project manager at a smart home technology company in Nigeria. The product helps households cut electricity bills by intelligently controlling connected devices, combining cloud services, mobile apps and IoT hardware. The post suits an experienced delivery-minded product manager who enjoys turning customer needs into clear requirements, coordinating multiple technical teams and partners, and growing a developer ecosystem around a connected-home platform. Strong communication and a data-led approach are valued.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain the product roadmap, setting priorities using customer research and product KPIs
• Write product requirements and user stories, and run user research to guide feature decisions
• Manage sprints, releases, timelines, risks and dependencies across software, hardware and DevOps teams
• Support developer onboarding, APIs, SDKs and app publishing to grow the developer marketplace
• Coordinate the CTO, engineering, business teams, customers and external partners to deliver successfully

What you need

• At least 4 years' experience in product management, technical project management or a combined role
• Experience delivering products involving cloud services, mobile apps and connected devices, ideally in IoT, smart home or energy
• Agile/Scrum or Kanban delivery skills and familiarity with tools such as Jira or ClickUp
• Technical understanding of APIs, microservices, device protocols and data
• Excellent communication, product documentation and data-driven decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business or related field, or equivalent experience
