Product Manager, Data & Growth (Remote - Worldwide)

A fast-growing developer tools and data company with a large installed base, operating fully remotely and working asynchronously. This discovery-focused product role suits someone with a technical background who wants to move into product and commercial work. The position centres on data analysis, user research and the business side of the products, working alongside small autonomous engineering teams. It is well suited to people who enjoy digging into metrics, spotting strengths and weaknesses in a product, and writing clearly for distributed colleagues.

What you'll do

• Run monthly growth reviews, ensuring the right metrics are in place and investigating shifts in usage, revenue and churn
• Lead data research projects on questions such as drivers of long-term retention and churn across customer segments
• Research competitors and the wider tooling landscape and recommend opportunities in pricing, feature parity or adjacent products
• Organise and run user interviews, inviting engineers to take part, and give quick product feedback on features
• Coach product engineers on approaching product decisions
• Choose self-directed projects where you can have the greatest impact

What you need

• Background as a technical founder or product engineer at a startup, with real coding experience
• Strong product sense across UX and commercial aspects
• Familiarity with activation, retention and churn metrics, and comfort writing SQL or another query language
• Hands-on experience with observability tools
• Proactive, organised, and strong at asynchronous written communication
• Nice to have: product management for observability, developer tool or AI products, data modelling, or user interviewing experience
