Product Manager - Realtime

A senior product role for someone who loves developer tools and live, interactive software. The position sits within a fast-growing, remote-first developer infrastructure business that offers a complete backend platform for building apps, supported by a large and active developer community. What you'll do

• Define problem statements and the rationale for the real-time product roadmap, working with engineering and design on the developer experience
• Shape how real-time features support new application patterns, including AI-driven apps and integration with other platform products
• Own packaging and pricing for real-time capabilities with pricing, finance and billing teams
• Use product data to understand where developers succeed or get stuck and decide what to build next
• Maintain the plan of record covering what is coming, why, and in what order, keeping teams aligned
• Engage with developers ranging from indie builders to enterprise teams

What you need

• 5+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as a former founder
• Hands-on ownership of a developer platform, feature or framework where real-time functionality was central
• Strong analytical skills, including defining instrumentation and querying and cleaning data independently
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL and familiar with logical replication
• Strong written communicator who works asynchronously and moves decisions forward in writing
• Useful extras: existing developer audience, experience with sync engines, local-first or live-query products, or work with gaming, AR or collaborative-tool customers
