Programs Lead

A hybrid programs role with a growing non-governmental organisation in Gbagada, Lagos. The organisation is a young, mission-driven startup focused on social impact and is looking for someone to help shape and deliver its initiatives. The role suits an organised, results-focused professional with non-profit or development experience, strong communication and grant writing skills, and a genuine interest in measurable social change. It is a fixed-term contract of three months, with a hybrid work schedule that combines onsite and remote working.

What you'll do

• Plan, implement and evaluate programs in line with the organisation's mission and strategic goals
• Monitor program progress, spot challenges and develop practical solutions
• Develop and manage program budgets and allocate resources efficiently
• Prepare program reports for internal stakeholders
• Act as a main point of contact for partners and beneficiaries
• Contribute to strategic planning, particularly program development

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, development, public administration, nonprofit management, project management or communications
• 1 to 3 years of program management or related experience, ideally in the non-profit sector
• Proven grant writing skills and experience securing funding
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database systems
• Experience in research, data collection and analysis; reliable electricity, internet and a personal laptop or desktop
