Project Engineer

This full-time onsite role in Port Harcourt is for an engineer who will support project engineering and field operations, with a focus on pipeline and oil and gas projects. It suits a technically minded graduate or early-career professional with an engineering background who enjoys hands-on work in the field. What you'll do

• Support project engineering and field operations, particularly on pipeline and oil and gas projects
• Coordinate project planning, execution and technical activities
• Support pipeline pre-commissioning activities in line with HSE requirements
• Conduct and support risk assessments and permit-to-work processes
• Work with pumps, valves, flanges, instrumentation and related field equipment
• Contribute to safe, efficient and timely project delivery

What you need

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical or a related discipline
• Relevant project engineering experience, preferably in oil and gas
• Knowledge of pipeline pre-commissioning, HSE, risk assessment and permit-to-work systems
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, flanges, instrumentation and field operations
• Strong planning, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Advantageous: pipeline hydrotesting, flushing, flange management, controlled bolting, nitrogen services, leak detection, chemical cleaning, pumping or subsea pre-commissioning experience
