Project Manager – Storage & CNG/LNG Gas Projects

A senior engineering and project management role leading large storage infrastructure projects, including propane and fuel oil/bitumen storage facilities, alongside compressed and liquefied natural gas plant developments. Based at a head office in Nigeria with regular site travel across several project locations. Suits an experienced oil and gas capital projects professional with a strong engineering background, a track record of delivering storage facilities, and familiarity with safety, quality and statutory compliance in the hydrocarbons sector.

What you'll do

• Oversee construction, welding, testing, safety assurance and commissioning of storage facilities
• Lead concept selection, FEED, technology licensing and EPC integration for CNG and LNG projects
• Manage project controls, cost forecasts, reporting and stage-gate reviews
• Ensure HAZOP, SIL, PSSR and management of change actions are closed before hydrocarbons are introduced
• Coordinate statutory approvals with regulatory and emergency service bodies
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, safety and quality standards

What you need

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or Process Engineering
• 10–15 years' experience in oil and gas capital projects, including at least 5 years as Project Manager or Lead Engineer
• Proven delivery of pressurised or atmospheric storage facilities such as spheres, bullets or tank farms
• Strong knowledge of API 650/620/2510, ASME VIII, NDT standards, HAZOP, SIL and PSSR
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred
• COREN registration and FEED-to-EPC gas project experience are strong advantages
