Senior Director, Product - Employer of Record

A senior product leadership role at a remote-first HR technology business that helps organisations hire, pay and support staff across many countries. The role covers a core, operationally and legally complex offering and suits an experienced product leader who enjoys combining strategy, people leadership and regulatory complexity with a strong interest in using AI to improve how teams work. Open to candidates based in EMEA and Toronto within a defined UTC time window.

What you'll do

• Own product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Employer of Record offering
• Take end-to-end accountability for platform performance and operational outcomes
• Turn complex, country-specific employment regulation into scalable, automated workflows
• Set priorities across new capability, regulatory requirements, technical debt and operational improvement
• Coach and grow a team of product managers and group product managers
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Operations, Legal and Finance; build an AI-first way of working in the product organisation

What you need

• 10+ years in product management, including 5 to 7 years leading other product managers
• Experience in operationally or legally complex B2B or fintech; HR tech, EOR, payroll or compliance is a plus
• Strong systems thinking and a track record of using AI to change how a team works
• Proven people leadership and experience leading through structural change
• Ability to set vision at business-unit level and influence senior stakeholders
• Fluent English, reliable home internet, and the right to work where you live
