Senior Risk Analyst (Android Lending)

A remote senior credit risk role owning a material credit-strategy workstream within a digital lending portfolio serving customers in Nigeria. The position combines hands-on strategy design, P&L accountability, and production decision-engine work, with a clear path toward broader portfolio ownership. It suits an experienced consumer credit professional who is comfortable with SQL and analytical tooling, enjoys working across risk, product, engineering and finance, and wants to take ownership of outcomes in a fast-moving, ambiguous setting. Candidates should expect a multi-stage process including a case study and senior interviews.

What you'll do

• Own the performance, forecast and roadmap of an assigned lending workstream, including variance explanation
• Design and improve credit strategies such as eligibility, pricing, exposure limits, affordability and customer lifecycle logic
• Translate strategy into decision-engine rules and parameters, with testing, back-testing and staged rollout plans
• Monitor live strategies and take corrective action where results differ from expectations
• Maintain strategy documentation, policy versioning and decision traceability
• Work with cross-functional teams and mentor other analysts

What you need

• 4 to 7+ years in consumer credit risk, credit strategy, lending analytics or portfolio management
• Experience in digital unsecured lending, consumer finance, cards, overdrafts, BNPL or similar
• Evidence of owning a material credit-strategy workstream end to end
• Strong grasp of credit risk metrics such as PD, LGD, EAD, vintages, roll rates, FPD, PAR, NPL and ECL
• Strong SQL skills and comfort with Python, R or similar tools
• Strong written and verbal communication
