Senior / Staff Product Manager, Patient Mobile App and Web Portal (Remote)

This is a product leadership role at a fast-growing mental healthcare technology company that already runs billing, scheduling and practice management for tens of thousands of therapists and serves millions of patients across all 50 US states. The company wants its patient mobile app and logged-in web portal to become the main place patients go to manage their care, not just a tool for booking and paying. You will own the patient experience across iOS, a first Android release, and the web, and set the platform patterns that other product teams build on.

What you'll do

• Turn the patient app from a list of appointments into a proactive home screen that guides patients toward their next step, including navigation, notifications and messaging.
• Improve everyday tasks such as booking, rescheduling, insurance details and joining a session so they are fast and feel native.
• Decide where to use native platform features (widgets, live activities, voice assistants, health data, modern sign-in) and where a third-party tool is the faster route on both iOS and Android.
• Lead the launch of the first Android app, starting with a solid baseline and a plan for feature parity.
• Audit the web portal, remove the biggest sources of friction, and decide feature by feature whether it belongs on web or in the app.
• Define clear interfaces and standards for partner teams shipping into the app, and manage the roadmap for app quality, reliability, deep linking and attribution.

What you need

• 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time owning engagement and retention on native consumer mobile apps.
• Hands-on knowledge of the iOS and Android ecosystems and sound judgment on build-versus-buy decisions.
• Track record of launching on Android or a clear, well-argued plan for doing so.
• Experience running a shared platform or core app that multiple teams build into.
• Strong data skills: set meaningful engagement and retention metrics, run experiments, and separate proxy metrics from real goals.
• Experience in healthcare, fintech or another high-trust domain, with a practical approach to privacy, consent and accessibility, and comfort working with Legal and Clinical teams.
• Comfortable using AI tools in your own work and making product decisions on AI-powered features.
