Social Media Intern

A remote internship for a creative early-career person who wants to build a future in social media and digital marketing. The host is a business in Nigeria that is growing its online presence. The role suits aspiring content creators and marketers who enjoy designing visuals, writing captions and learning through hands-on work. Prior experience is not essential, and a portfolio or personal content samples are welcome.

What you'll do

• Create engaging social media content, including reels, graphics and other visuals
• Plan and manage social media platforms using a content calendar
• Write captions and copy that connect with the target audience
• Monitor engagement and review content performance
• Support digital marketing campaigns and promotional activities
• Keep up with social media trends and suggest creative ideas

What you need

• 0 to 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Canva and CapCut
• Strong writing, storytelling and creative skills
• A good understanding of major social media platforms
• Interest in content creation, social media management and digital marketing
• Willingness to learn, take feedback and collaborate remotely
