Software Engineer, AI Data (Remote, Czech Republic)

This is a remote software engineering role on the AI team of a fast-growing audio AI company with a fully distributed workforce and no office. You will build the data pipelines that feed model training and new AI products. The work centers on large-scale dataset creation, where quality, throughput and cost all matter. You will work closely with AI scientists and own projects from initial problem discovery through to production.

What you'll do

• Find new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines to add them to training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems, optimizing for data quality, throughput and cost.
• Partner with AI scientists to improve training datasets and support next-generation model development.
• Take end-to-end ownership of engineering projects, from problem definition through implementation and ongoing improvement.

What you need

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with solid backend fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Based in the Czech Republic.
