Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote, Lagos)

This is a remote recruitment role based in Lagos, suited to an experienced recruiter who enjoys owning hiring from start to finish. The organisation has ongoing hiring needs across many business functions and values a collaborative team that cares about candidate experience. You would work closely with hiring managers to plan and fill roles, build talent pipelines, and support wider HR work such as employee relations, performance management and retention. The role suits someone who is organised, persuasive, strategic and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job intake and sourcing through to interviews, offer negotiation, hiring and onboarding
• Build proactive pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs
• Partner with hiring managers at all levels to plan staffing and build lasting working relationships
• Support HR initiatives and suggest improvements to processes and programmes
• Help manage day-to-day employee relations, including resolving complaints
• Coordinate performance and talent management, and support HR policies that aid growth and retention

What you need

• A degree or relevant technical qualification in human resources or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience across full life-cycle recruitment
• Experience as both an agency recruiter and an in-house recruiter
• Experience hiring for technical and non-technical roles, such as engineering, business and commercial positions
• Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building and organisational skills with keen attention to detail
