Technical & Project Director

A senior, full-time leadership role based onsite in Garki, Abuja, within a real estate and property development business. The position centres on guiding technical delivery and project management across development and infrastructure work, coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, internal teams and regulators, and keeping projects on schedule, on budget and to quality. It suits an experienced built-environment professional with a strong engineering or planning background, a track record of leading large, long-term or master-planned schemes, and the commercial judgement to balance cost, programme and quality.

What you'll do

• Lead the planning, execution and completion of real estate development and infrastructure projects
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones and deliverables
• Supervise contractors, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project quality and progress
• Review technical designs, project specifications, quotations and contractor deliverables
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget control

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Urban & Regional Planning, or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning or a related field is an advantage
• Relevant professional registration or certification in Nigeria is desirable
• 15–20+ years of professional experience, including at least 8–10 years in senior management
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, long-term development projects, master-planned communities or estates, and commercial or mixed-use developments
• Strong technical knowledge, project leadership and commercial awareness
