Tendering Specialist

This full-time, onsite role in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is for a tendering specialist who will find construction and infrastructure bid opportunities and lead them through to submission. The post sits with a construction-focused organisation working on building, civil, and infrastructure projects. It suits a detail-oriented professional with three to five years of tendering or bid management experience, sound knowledge of construction methods and Bills of Quantities, and the ability to keep several deadlines on track under pressure.

What you'll do

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities such as RFQs, RFPs, ITTs and EOIs
• Coordinate the end-to-end tendering and bid management process
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and contract requirements
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals
• Work with engineering, procurement and project teams to gather bid inputs
• Monitor deadlines and maintain a tender database and proposal library

What you need

• BSc in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of tendering, bid management or proposal development experience
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, BOQs and technical specifications
• Excellent proposal-writing and document-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
