Customer Relationship Manager

This remote role in Nigeria is for a customer support professional who will be the calm, caring voice for event organisers and ticket buyers. The organisation runs an event ticketing and discovery platform serving events, nightlife and campus communities across emerging markets. The work suits someone who enjoys solving problems end to end, explaining technical processes in plain language, and spotting patterns that help the product improve. Evening and weekend availability during live event windows is part of the job.

What you'll do

• Respond to support requests by email and in-app with empathy and speed
• Guide organisers through event setup, ticket sales, payouts and QR check-in
• Help attendees with ticket access, refund questions and event discovery
• Document recurring issues and patterns for the product team
• Escalate fraud, abuse or payment edge cases using internal guidelines
• Keep a calm, professional tone during live event periods

What you need

• Strong written English and clear communication
• Ability to explain technical flows in plain language
• Patient, organised and reliable during evenings and weekends
• Based in or familiar with Nigeria or West African event culture (a plus)
• Prior customer support or community management experience (nice to have)
• Familiarity with ticketing, fintech or marketplace products (nice to have)
