Marketing & Growth Data Analyst (Remote, Germany)

A digital financial products company in Germany is looking for a data analyst to sit between marketing, product and data teams. The role focuses on measuring how marketing channels perform, understanding the full customer funnel, and giving teams evidence to guide budget and product decisions. You will work with modern data tooling and collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Analyse paid marketing channels and key metrics such as CAC, ROAS and payback periods, and recommend budget allocation across channels.
• Develop attribution understanding beyond simple last-contact models, including incrementality and the real contribution of each channel.
• Work on mobile attribution and cross-device identity bridging between app and web to view CAC and LTV at the person level.
• Analyse the full funnel from first contact through registration to first activation and beyond, including cohort and retention analysis.
• Support A/B tests and product experiments, from hypothesis and KPI definition through statistical evaluation.
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics on Databricks that business teams can use independently.

What you need

• 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, web analytics or product analytics, ideally in a digital business with meaningful paid marketing spend.
• Very strong SQL skills and the ability to answer complex questions independently.
• Solid understanding of digital tracking, marketing attribution and customer journeys.
• Experience with at least one BI or visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• German language skills at C1 level.
• Ability to work autonomously, turn vague questions into testable hypotheses, and explain results to marketing, product and management leaders.
