Procurement Officer

A full-time onsite role in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, for a procurement professional who will oversee purchasing, supplier relationships and the paperwork that keeps buying transparent and controlled. The post suits someone with a background in procurement, supply chain or business administration who enjoys careful record-keeping, negotiating good terms and making sure goods arrive as ordered. What you'll do

• Source and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery timelines and credibility
• Obtain and compare quotations before raising requisitions and purchase orders
• Obtain management approval before making procurement commitments
• Verify supplier deliveries against quantities and specifications, checking delivery notes, invoices and goods received records
• Follow up on outstanding deliveries and resolve supply issues
• Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records, monitor market prices and prepare procurement reports

What you need

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline
• 2–3 years of relevant procurement experience
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications
• Excellent record-keeping, analytical and organisational skills
• High level of honesty, accountability and attention to detail
